Water Bath / Water Quench Conveyor
The Water-Veyor carries hot parts through a stainless water tank and lifts them out cooled and stable. Built heavy, because a full water tank weighs a lot more than parts.
What it does
Cool the part before it warps in the box
Thick-wall molded parts keep cooking after they leave the mold. Drop them hot into a gaylord and they can warp, stick together or keep shrinking. The Water-Veyor runs them through a water bath to cool and stabilize them, then carries them up out of the tank on an incline.
Parts that float? We have built Water-Veyors with ways to handle floating parts, and fixtures that hold parts under water.
Cooling something other than plastic? Send us the part, the temperature and the rate, and we will tell you if a Water-Veyor fits.
Standard features
What you get
- All stainless steel construction, 12 gauge or heavier
- Large diameter stainless steel rollers and axles

- Incline discharge section lifts parts out of the tank
- Shipped fully assembled with the belt tracked

Why LaRos
Built for a full tank, every shift
Ships ready to run
Fully assembled with the belt tracked, as big as fits in a dry van. You uncrate it, set it and add power. No week of assembly and belt tracking on your floor.
Welded C-channel frames
10 gauge steel channel, welded, with 3" x 2" tube cross bracing. Not T-slot aluminum extrusion. People stand on conveyors, so we build them to take it.
Bigger crowned pulleys
4-1/2" crowned pulleys at minimum, on 3/4" to 1-7/16" shafts. The bigger bend radius tracks better, carries heavier welded cleats and makes expensive belts last longer.
Heavier axles, bearings and stands
Larger axles and bearings than the light-duty lines, on sturdier stands. Usually Bodine gearmotors.
Smooth sides
Take-ups sit inside the frame, not hanging off the outside. No exposed spinning axles at the side of the conveyor.
Built to last decades
We regularly supply parts for LaRos machines 30 years old and more, from job and serial records going back to 1976.
Options for this conveyor
- Speed Controls (Variable Speed / VFD)
- Modular Belts
- Cooling
Often paired with
- Incline Conveyor
- Robot Unload Conveyor
- Under Press Conveyor
- Tote / Container Indexing
