Incline Conveyor
A cleated belt that lifts parts up to 45 degrees, into the gaylord, the grinder throat or the next machine. Welded frame, big pulleys, belt tracked before it ships.
What it does
Get parts up and over, without babysitting the belt
The 510 / 710 / 910 series inclines run at angles up to 45 degrees. Cleats are welded to the belt on the centers your parts need, so parts ride up instead of tumbling back.
Use one to fill a gaylord or tote, feed a granulator, or lift parts to a work station or the next process. Need a level load zone first? See the horizontal to incline. Need to clear an obstruction at the top? See the nose over.
Grinder opening tight? The ET series has a tubular discharge end for low-profile entry into a grinder throat.

|---|---|
| Angle | Up to 45 degrees |
| Belt widths | [SPEC NEEDED: confirm max width for inclines (old site: E-series to 48 in; brochure: LaRos up to 96 in)] |
| Exposed belt | Belt width minus 1". Frames overlap the belt 1/2" on each side. Belt-above-frame construction available for full belt width |
| Length | Any length |
| Cleats | Welded on. Up to 3" high, 3" minimum centers. Other profiles available |
| Belting | Smooth belting with welded cleats standard. Rough top, grip top, urethane, modular thermoplastic and others available |
| Drive | 115VAC single speed gearmotor standard. Variable speed (SCR DC or 3-phase VFD) available. All voltages |
| Max part weight / load | [SPEC NEEDED: belt load rating at 45 degrees] |
| Finish | Primer and oil-base enamel, any color you want (steel units) |
Frame depth and drive size
The first digit of the model number is the frame depth. Bigger frames carry bigger internally mounted motors.
| Series | Frame | Max internally mounted motor |
|---|---|---|
| 3XX | 4" deep, 10 ga. steel or 1/8" aluminum | Underslung, motor pulley or side mounted motor only |
| 5XX | 6" deep, 10 ga. steel or 3/16" aluminum | 1/3 hp (110V) / 1/2 hp (230/460V) |
| 6XX | 8" deep, 10 ga. steel | 1.0 hp, all voltages |
| 7XX | 8" deep, 7 ga. steel | 1.0 hp, all voltages |
| 9XX | 10" deep, 7 ga. steel | 1.5 hp, all voltages |
Example: E-510-18-11.06 = E-series steel, 6" deep frame, internally mounted motor, 18" belt (17" exposed), 11'-6" long.
Why LaRos
Why our inclines track and last
Ships ready to run
Fully assembled with the belt tracked, as big as fits in a dry van. You uncrate it, set it and add power. No week of assembly and belt tracking on your floor.
Welded C-channel frames
10 gauge steel channel, welded, with 3" x 2" tube cross bracing. Not T-slot aluminum extrusion. People stand on conveyors, so we build them to take it.
Bigger crowned pulleys
4-1/2" crowned pulleys at minimum, on 3/4" to 1-7/16" shafts. The bigger bend radius tracks better, carries heavier welded cleats and makes expensive belts last longer.
Heavier axles, bearings and stands
Larger axles and bearings than the light-duty lines, on sturdier stands. Usually Bodine gearmotors.
Smooth sides
Take-ups sit inside the frame, not hanging off the outside. No exposed spinning axles at the side of the conveyor.
Built to last decades
We regularly supply parts for LaRos machines 30 years old and more, from job and serial records going back to 1976.
